Ishasha Jungle Lodge
 The lodge is found on the banks of River Ntungwe in approximately 3killometers away from Katokye Gate of Queen Elizabeth National Park in the Ishasha sector in the south western Uganda. It is established on a sprawling 20 acres of land along the Ntungwe River that streams through the National Park.

The first impression you get when you arrive at Ishasha Jungle Lodge is how the lodge is beautifully designed with local materials and in a quite peaceful setting along this River Ntungwe. The lodge is surrounded by the by forest and it offers a quiet and peaceful setting for visitors.
The Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park has been with just few accommodation choices, but the establishment of Ishasha Jungle Lodge, now the visitors has another quality option in the area.
            The lodge is not only surrounding by nature but it is also eco friendly, whereby it focused in being in peace with the nature surrounds.
 Currently the lodge has 4 cottages constructed from natural materials, for example wooden floors and decks and even the furnishing and art at the lodge is made by local artisans and most the staffs are from the local communities around the park. This has made the establishment of the lodge more important to both the tourists and local people because it is providing employment to the local people.

The cooking at the lodge is done with propane gas and an alternative of charcoal and they use solar energy on lights and refrigerator and there is an emergency backup generator at the lodge. The restaurant at the lodge offers both international and local dishes and the restaurant its self is set in a perfect place to offer a best breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Ishasha Jungle Lodge is another luxury accommodation option in the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth Park. This makes it a perfect base for tourists going to wildlife safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park and from here you can go track the tree climbing lions in the area.
