Queen Elizabeth National Park

The park is believed to be the most visited national in the country located approximately 400km southwester of Kampala the largest and the capital of Uganda. The park is located in the districts of Kasese, Kamwenge, Rubirizi, and Rukungiri and occupies an area of 1,978 square kilometers. Towards the north east the park extends to Lake George and in south west to Lake Edward and includes the mighty Kazinga Channel which connects the two lakes. This channel attracts a variety of birds and animals and its is also believed to be place where you can find the largest number of Hippos and Nile crocodiles in the whole world.

The diverse ecosystems of Queen Elizabeth National Park which include humid forests, sprawling savanna, sparkling lakes, shady and fertile wetlands this make it the perfect habitat for amazing big game, over 10 species of primates including the rare and endangered chimpanzees and not overlooking the 600 bird species which make it a perfect destination for bird lovers.
